My favorite advice is this:

Determine how to ignore most advice.

Advice is cheap. In business, opinions are even cheaper. A bunch of people with no context and different experiences telling you the answer. They don’t know what you know. Believe that. My skin crawls every time I hear someone try to get advisor shares just for advice.

My new rule is this. If it is my opinion on your idea, company, hiring, life, whatever… I have no advice.

If I read it in a book, I will never tell you to do product like “Amazon” if I’ve never worked there. (This is the worst advice, I can read the book yo)

If I can share a story which has a checklist of how I did it, then I will gladly share that and I hope that my past experiences + process helps.

Fucking advice, it is so cheap. Be careful who you listen to.
